Signs of Our Future
Comparing marijuana to opiates? Them sounds like fighting words. One's addictive and kills people. The other is not and does not. In fact, in states where marijuana is available opoide use is measurably lower. Guess we can't have that.
Also, states should decide who uses the bathroom in our schools but only the Fed can decide who gets to light up? Seems arbitrary to me.

The Sounds of Silence
Elizabeth Warren must have used a nasty tone of voice to force Mitch to silence her. The fact that he let a male Democratic Senator finish reading the letter leads me to wonder if Mitch thought she was being a bitch and wanted to take her down a notch or two. As a student of human behavior, I would not recommend that he continue that approach with Senator Warren. She can take care of herself.

I Am Entertained.
We have a new president and all I can really say is that I am entertained. Too soon for anything else. One can choose to be upset over things as they are while maintaining their humor as they go about changing it. Anger leads to the dark side. Humor leads to understanding.
