It's January 11th at 2 PM and I just got off the phone with Ear4thlink. It took 25 minutes and 5 transfers to get it done. This is with the evidence of 3 missed appointments (yes, they missed their expected time by a half hour) in their records. I guess I'm supposed to be happy that I wasn't billed for a cancellation charge. Anyway, we're stuck with the devil we know in AT&T. As near as I can figure, they knew all along that they'd be replacing our service line as the fella that showed up was from Southern California. I'm fairly sure they repeatedly lied to me about what was going on or at the very least, withheld the truth. Oh well, at least we know what to expect in the future. Later.
