 Found the rear end of a small rabbit in front of my door a few days ago. Found half of the head with one ear under a chair on the porch in one of the cat beds. No lucky feet found. Guess Thumper ate em. Just sayin’.

Agave Americana

 Better known as a Century Plant once lived beside our carport. It was about 3 feet tall last year and we just noticed that it’s well on its way to becoming a destructive agent in our garden. At least it was until we removed it and its siblings yesterday. Need one? There were ten or more suckers that are currently looking for homes. There were two main plants that had leaves up to 3+ feet long with needle sharp tips. A central spear had just reached eye level when I removed it. Clipped the leaf tips and only got stuck once or twice by those deadly weapons. Its explosive growth over the last year was amazing. It’s like it was going somewhere. 

Speaking of going somewhere, how about that piece of Human excrement in the White House? He’s selling us out while pulling in about a million dollars an hour! Defender of the Constitution my ass. Just sayin’.

Garlic Scapes

 Ever heard about them. It’s the stem part of the flower. You can use it like green onions. It tastes a bit like garlic but mostly the bite part. Tad bit of heat to make your day. Nancy let the garlic go wild last year so we have it growing everywhere. Cut around 50 or more immature flowers yesterday and they tasted pretty good. Taco soup will be improved for sure. Just sayin’.

New Appliance Time

 Our 6000 btu Kenmore window ac unit has given up the ghost after a decade of faithful service. We have a second unit from Kenmore that’s still working after the same amount of time. Buying a new appliance nowadays is fraught with problems as the new stuff usually doesn’t live up to the standards the older ones achieved. LG had an 8000 btu unit for about what I paid for the Kenmore. Let’s hope it works as well and lasts as long. Just sayin’.

Martial Law Won’t Work Unless

I’m thinking that the bullshit immigration raids where ICE agents are unidentified is a warm up for the brown shirt (see Nazi Germany) crews to operate in an environment of fear and intimidation. Show me your badge motherfucker. Or suffer the consequences. What jury will convict someone for preventing a kidnapping when the supposed law enforcement officers won’t identify themselves? More on Dot

 Nancy wanted to use some white paint to put her image on the road to highlight what happened yesterday. Having inadvertently removed several dogs from circulation with whatever vehicle I was driving at the time, I can attest to the unavoidable nature of most road deaths. It looks like Dot ran out from behind Neal’s truck and was immediately hit. I literally flattened a small dog once that darted under my front tire under those conditions and there was absolutely no way to doing so. I stopped to let the owners know what happened though, or did I? I let the neighbors know and left my business card if the owners wishes to follow up. They were heartbroken but understood. I’m not in favor of painting our upset for what happened in front of our home though. They know what they did and they’re going to deal with it their own way. Just sayin’.

Only the Good Die Young

 She was a little sweetheart of dog. Medium sized, a bit under a year old and clueless when it came to roads. Late in the afternoon yesterday she was hit and killed in front of our house. Neal, her owner was visiting and she would normally stay in his truck while we had dinner. For whatever reasons she didn’t this time and paid the price. We didn’t hear a thing. No brakes, no fuss. It was a silent killing. Who ever did it drove on into obscurity. A neighbor walking her dog found her and waved at us to let us know what happened. No one saw her get hit. Sad but preventable. Just sayin’.

Garcia Isn’t Coming Back

 There is no way they’ll let bring him back. Innocent? Not according to our DOJ. Lies are all this Fascist administration produces, no facts in their unconstitutional actions. There is no way they can bring him back because the truth of the torture and inhumane treatment he’s going through cannot see the light of day. If he’s still alive. Just sayin’.

Signs of More Chaos

 Ignoring court orders, talking about sending US citizens to a death prison. Authoritarian rule anyone? There’s some ugly shit coming down and it doesn’t look good for our Democracy. Just sayin’.

Signs of Insane Violent Zombies

 MAGA zombies aren’t worth talking to. My friend Susan laughed at her husband’s attempt to reason with an obviously insane woman who accused him of something he had nothing to do with. Same goes for Trump supporters. Facts don’t matter. Nothing you can say will change their minds about their chosen one. Cult members one and all. Just sayin’.

More Weeds

 I hate Star Thistles. I pulled all of them just coming up in front of our house in the gravel yesterday. This morning I pulled more that emerged since then. Some of them were already an inch tall. Damn that is some serious growth in such a short time. I’m thinking they knew what happened to their siblings and accelerated their growth accordingly. They already own most of the field across the street. You can’t burn them out because the adult plants love it and reproduce dramatically in those conditions. Same with burning them after pulling them up. They have awesome survival skills so it wouldn’t surprise me if they communicate. Just sayin’.

Signs from Weeding

 As I attempt to remove the unwanted plants we call weeds I find myself contemplating their ability to survive. Burr weeds are particularly suited to overcome efforts to eradicate them. Once they emerge they split their main growth in several different directions. Pulling on just one of them leaves the roots in the ground which will continue its survival. You need to gather all of them before you pull to successfully remove them. Another weed I was pulling had just started its flowers and those were the ones I pulled. Later that same afternoon the ones I left behind produced flowers. I concluded that they heard their fellow weeds dying and sped up their flowering process which is their main purpose in life. My conclusion is that these weeds communicate to better survive the conditions they find themselves in. That and they can react in different ways to whatever threatens their existence. Cool stuff that makes you think. Just sayin’.

Signs from The Oval Office Grifter

 So Trump and his billionaire friends (more than likely) made more billions on the brief/partial stock market recovery after he paused the tariffs for 90 days. Insider trading anyone. Who in Congress or the Senate knew what was coming? My theory/guess would be that his tariffs were not working out so he figured he’d take advantage of the opportunity to spread some wealth to some of his supporters. It’s not illegal if he does it. Or so he thinks. Just sayin’.

PS…to be clear, I have no evidence that it happened but he got on Truth Social to tell everyone what was about to happen. Clear evidence of insider trading. That’s his moronic style. It seems to work for him, stupid as it is. Too obvious to work for anyone else. Also sayin’.

On second thought, I may be wrong to call him a moron. He just grifted billions from Wall Street and will more than likely face no consequences. Not that stupid after all?
