Death Visits a Squirrel

 A dead (or soon to be dead) digger squirrel was hanging from Thumper’s jaws as he crossed the road on his way home. He proudly displayed his trophy and proceeded to stash it in an unmarked grave. We can’t find it anywhere. I’m sure it will become odiferous soon so we can dispose of whatever is left. Just sayin’.

Pickled Garlic

 So I pickled the garlic 4 weeks ago and now it’s ready. Then I discovered you can roast it so I did. Softened and sweetened it up enough to add to some sour cream to spread on whatever. Tasty for sure. Just sayin’.

 Jimmy likes to sleep on our dresser at night. He snoozes in a position overlooking us while we sleep. This morning he woke me up with his purring self which is one of the better ways to start one’s day. I’d like to think that he loves me but more than likely he was ready for breakfast. Just sayin’.
