Signs of Torture II

By law, the President must make a formal finding authorizing a C.I.A. covert operation, and inform the senior leadership of the House and the Senate Intelligence Committees. However, the Bush Administration unilaterally determined after 9/11 that intelligence operations conducted by the military—including the Pentagon’s covert task forces—for the purposes of “preparing the battlefield” could be authorized by the President, as Commander-in-Chief, without telling Congress.

The abuses of this administration are vast and unprecedented. Of particular concern is its use of "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" (a term the Nazis coined) with the approval of our president. Bush breaks the laws of our nation and the international community every single day, as this article in The New Yorker makes very clear. Of course, the folks being tortured are brown so that makes it O.K. in his book. May he eat shit and die.

Of course eating shit and dying would be great, but I prefer the bastard rot in a cell at the Hague....along with his cronies Abu Gonzales, The Big Dick Cheney and all the rest of those warmongering fuckwits.

Speaking of breaking the law, you come awfully close when you wish the President dead.

You're a bitter, pathetic, bald loser lobbing duds from the fringe. What an asshole.

I suppose that wishing that our president would eat shit and die could be termed a terrorist act under this administration's policies. If you had a mind that worked you would see the danger behind this type of suppression of free speach. In a true Democracy, what I do here would not be subject to any legal boundries unless I advocated taking violent action against the criminals who run this country. Pundits from the right often advocate violent acts towards public figures that they perceive are from the left yet suffer no consequences. That being said, you can say anything you want about my views and I will support your right to do so. Calling each other names is getting old. I've been told that I should never wrestle with a pig because pigs like to wrestle in the mud. Wipe off you shoes before you come into my house or I'll just toss you out and let you wallow in the mud to your hearts content. Do I make myself clear?

Calling each other names is getting old, but you're so deserving of them. Particularly hypocrite. If you lack the balls to post my comments, that's your problem. But I can and will outshout you any and every time. Keep to society's fringes Faulkna, because you can't make it in the deep water.

Hypocrite? Nope.
Fringes? Possibly.
Deep water? You don't know what deep water is.

I failed to trigger your rage. (You must have adjusted your meds.) One point for Faulkna.

And after all this, Congressman Mike Thompson is still against impeachment? What good is Mike Thompson? Oh yeah, he is good at taking all kinds of campaign cash as Thompson is a pathetic political whore.

AIPAC is having a fundraiser for Mike Thompson in Napa County in August. Mo' money, mo' money, mo' money!
