Signs of Leaving

Once again I am leaving for a while (2 weeks or so) and heading for the hills. This time it will be to an un-named location to do some work that needs doing. The kind of work I can't really talk about too much. Without any internet access to boot.

I've enjoyed doing this blog and will continue when I'm able to in the future. Obviously I lean to the left and my take on things is driven by that bias. But I feel that anyone who has a half-open mind would have to agree with my slant on things. How can anyone support what our current leadership is doing to this country? They serve their corporate masters and drive this great nation to ruin for the love of the $$$$. It's that simple. Profit rules. People suffer. But it doesn't have to be that way. The Democrats are more than likely no better than those currently in charge but they deserve a chance. Fuck Bush. He's a simple man in complicated times. We need something different. We need another answer than the one he gives us. Vote your heart and kick his supporters out of office. That's what I'm going to do with every breath. Speak the truth and eventually someone will hear. Even if they're anonymous.

First Ammendment Signs

According to the lawsuit filed at U.S. District Court in Denver, Howards and his son walked to about two-to-three feet from where Cheney was standing, and said to the vice president, "I think your policies in Iraq are reprehensible," or words to that effect, then walked on.

He was later arrested by the secret service (SS) for harrassment. The charges were dropped afterwards and now he's filed a lawsuit.

What is it with this administration? They want everything to be secret. They can't stand someone speaking the truth about their actions. They cover for their buddies. No one is accountable. Sounds like a corporation to me.
